Our history

Bookcraft was established in 1992 by a group of experienced freelance publishing professionals, at a time when outsourcing project management was a relatively new phenomenon. The aim was then as it is now to provide a comprehensive range of services to the publishing industry.

Bookcraft has carried out projects for many of the UK's major publishers – Taylor & Francis, Blackwell, Heinemann, Pearson, Ashgate and HarperCollins – and for many other organisations – such as IUCN, Edexcel, the Office for National Statistics and English Heritage.
